Very nice lunch in the bar area. Hot beef on a panini with chips, salad and gravy. And a crusty roll with prawns in a sauce again with chips etc. The chips were home made and lovely. This is a dog friendly pub. Very impressed so will definitely go again.
The bill here is a bit more than your typical pub lunch but the food is delicious and beautifully presented, definitely worth it. Staff are friendly, attentive and helpful. Definitely recommend reserving a table. I reserved a table for two adults and a highchair. The table was set up with the highchair ready, at the back of the restaurant where the level entrance is and with plenty of room for the pushchair, very considerate, it's rare to have the highchair ready and waiting like that. Food, drinks and bill all brought in a reasonable time despite being busy.

Called in on the off chance of a table for Sunday lunch and although fully booked we were offered a table provided we would finish 15 minutes before the time it was booked for. This gave us 45 mins so we agreed and were promptly seated and drinks ordered. The food was good and we received a warm and friendly service with no feeling of being rushed. The beer also is excellent. Recommended.
