I didn't phone my takeaway food in advance as instructed during the lockdown, but was willingly accomodated by the owners. The veggie lasagne was excellent and very reasonably priced. Service was with a big smile. Thank you again.

What a delightful pub, set in probably the most quintessential English village you’ll ever find. Great staff who are coping excellently with the current COVID keeping apart rules. Lovely seating outside at the front with stunning views of the village, and another garden to the rear. Well worth a trip, we traveled from Windsor to see the village and loved sitting outside the pub. Recommended
We had booked for dinner, but the poor staff seemed so overwhelmed by the new Covid restrictions that we waited a while for our table and ended up saying we'd go outside (which was really nice). Then it took so long to get menus we decided to bail, as our baby was already getting antsy and we'd been there over half an hour and only just got drinks. Lovely staff, perhaps one to go back to when things have calmed down a bit.
We visited the White Horse from Bristol and it was well worth the trip! The food was absolutely fantastic...the only shame was the weather which scuppered our plans to sit out overlooking The Green. Will definitely be back!
Quality food! The cod was a tad salty to my liking but still very tasty. Will come back
