Beautifully cooked, well presented food. Pre book re covid rules. Felt safe eating here. Plenty of filling food, try leave room for a delicious dessert, great value for money. Clean, good service....cooked to order so expect a little wait...it's not a fast food outlet but a dining experience. Usually wait 15 minutes or less after ordering. Expect longer on busy periods...bank holidays etc. I would definitely go again and if you are vegan or vegetarian...look at the menu..plenty of choices. Different menu on a Sunday..... I don't think they are open on a Monday during Winter...pre book essential.

Gorgeous home cooking, big portions, great value too! The staff are friendly and attentive. They didn't rush us either. We had a lasagna and a chicken curry, both with homemade chunky chips. Delicious!
Having booked this blindly was very pleasantly surprised. We had an excellent meal, extremely Covid aware. The service, the food, the cleanliness was excellent. Will definitely visit again. A big thank you to the landlady and her helpers who couldn’t do enough for us.
We had a great experience here. Really fresh food, plenty of it and good value. Lovely staff served us in this popular pub which was full of nice locals. Although busy, the staff were organised efficient and chilled. We can highly recommend to everyone.
Was staying in Bempton for a week and went to this pub. Well worked out with covid restrictions that made you feel secure. A nice friendly pub with good pub food.
