Really great food and service. We were there on Tuesday lunchtime, so it was quite quiet, bit was also quite cosy in the Snug.

I booked a table at The White Horse for a family meal before Christmas.The pub is situated in a lovely area and looks very welcoming on entering the carpark. On entering the pub all the Covid safety measures were in place.These included clear signs about masks and social distancing measures as well as hand sanitiser in various areas around the pub. We received a lovely welcome on entering the bar and was promptly shown to our table.The service was friendly and very efficient. The staff gave us a nice gap between courses(which was nice) but were always available if we needed anything.The food was excellent. There were a nice choice of meals on the menu. We had three courses each and all the food was freshly cooked. My party thoroughly enjoyed each of our courses.The service was excellent. We would all recommend this pub.It had a nice ambience and excellent food.Thank you. We will be back.

Adequate food but couldn't just buy fish and chips. Had to have a battered sausage with it. Who has battered sausage with fish? Still it was an excuse to hike the price to 14. And because of limited menu only rump steaks available. No fillet, rib-eye or sirloin. Not good enough. I only use rump for casseroles.
