Unfortunately had a very bad experience here but had a good one 2 years ago. I may have been unlucky on this occasion but it's no excuse for what was sent out. I was refunded for the meal but not my side which I did not touch as peppercorn sauce is not great on its own . I was at least expected an apologie from someone in charge or the person that attempted to cook it and let it out the kitchen. But instead they left it to a very young waiter which was unfair!! Picture says it all. I ordered medium rare but meat was old and tough aswell.
We’ve been dining at the White Hart for countless years and have always highly raved about the amazing value for money, service and those puddings! This evening we ordered a takeaway, as we were missing our favourite pub through lockdown and the food did not disappoint!
Today we had the Sunday lunch takeaway service. Absolutely delicious plenty of meat and veg. Would highly recommend
