I've been going to The White Hart since I was in college - 2006ish, it is one of the friendliest pubs in Basingstoke! It welcomes everyone of all types and doesn't discriminate, the regulars welcome everyone in open arms, and are genuinely friendly to everyone. The White Hart has plenty of events through out the week from live music at the weekend to board games nights, free pool and jukebox during the week, to a meat raffle on Sundays. They also show certain sports events (World Cup etc) The pub has a great selection of ales in bottle, though only usually has the one on tap.
Every time I come here I have a great time, but tonight this lady who was serving behind the bar was not great....sorry not great customer service at all....thinking about twice coming here again....all I asked was for was could I have the music slightly up...and she threatened me with management...which she did....and they asked me to leave...very over they top reaction...consider I go there all the the time!!! Rude...sorry over the top reaction....
Awesome pub! Friendly staff, pool tables, live music, great atmosphere. Lots of fun
Good pub to watch live bands. 5 minute walk from the Festival Place car park.
