Good tasty traditional food. Carol's pies are delicious! The interior of the pub feels very traditional and a bit scruffy. You could calk it character. But with good beer and great food does it matter?

A great locals pub with superb home cooked very reasonably priced Traditional English pub food served at lunchtime and evenings. Well kept Real Ale from Hall and Woodhouse.

The food was nice but the landlord is very unhelpful. There are flies everywhere and the place smells like it needs a good clean. I wouldn't visit here again.
Nice old school pub, nice food and really laid back. Will definitely come back in the future.
