I have been to this place 2 weeks ago. We have been served amazing food. Staff was very polite and friendly too. I have food allergies and they were able to assist me with that too. Very good overall experience. Will definitely go back

It's a fantastic pub. Probably the best food around. Better than the bricklayers in Flaunden.
Second time we’ve been there in a month. Very impressed last time but I’m afraid yesterday’s visit wasn’t so good. I had the same meal (burger and chips) but this time the chips were poor and felt tougher. Last time they were crisp on outside and fluffy in the inside. So disappointed but the service was good.
Lovely pub, friendly staff, good food and wood fires! Nice atmosphere.
A small cottage converted into a gastro pub, with a massive garden. Food is 5 star as is the service, right at the edge of Bovingdon and just down the road from the market. Well worth a visit if your in the area.
