We had lunch today with friends and were very impressed. The welcome from staff was warm, the drinks came to our table quickly and we were given plenty of time to read the menu. Once ordered the food came quickly and was very nice. I had the chilli with rice and garlic bread which was a good sized portion. My friend had the steak which she highly recommended too. Lovely place to spend a dreary weather afternoon. And the toilets were spotless too!

Love this place it's a great traditional village pub that serves food and beer at sensible prices. Staff and locals were friendly and there's a nice outdoor seating area. Car parking at the front side and rear.
Took my elderly dad for sunday lunch .we were both very happy. Food was delicious .beautiful crispy roast potatoes. And a great choice of desserts. I could keep going bk for the apple and BlackBerry crumble flapjack yum. The girls doing the serving are a delight very friendly and helpful. We will be returning for sure
We asked permission and they let us park in their car park while we went for a dog walk up the path to the left of the pub. Very nice pub, lovely atmosphere, friendly service, good covid measures in place. We all had bagettes for lunch and very very nice too. The deserts were excellent. Brilliant coffee. Will return.
The White Hart has a really super atmosfeer .. good old fashioned village pub. The service just can't be better, very very friendly.. the food although nothing really special was better than many in the area. We had luck on our (first) visit, there were a couple of Morris Dancer troupes giving a great show outside the pub. Really enjoyed ourselves.
