Visited on a rainy day, shared a pot of tea followed swiftly by a hot bowl of soup with a full sandwich side, as an excellent and very filling combo meal. The gentleman serving was very friendly, full of local knowledge and cleaning extremely carefully during covid-19. Highly recommended lunch break!

Busy, but very friendly staff. We're walking the coast to coast and they were so friendly. Offered to fill water bottles or fill flasks, etc. Perhaps more importantly lovely food thoroughly recommend a visit if you're in Kirkby Stephen...
Popped in for lunch before a long walk today. Lovely and spaced out, good choices on the menu and rapid service. Even took a brownie away for the walk. Would definitely recommend, very reasonably priced too! X
