Whisky Shop Dufftown, Excellent Company. I bought a Teaninich whisky. Which is from a less known distillery which I wanted to try. As I like trying new and different whiskies. I found Whisky Shop Dufftown whilst I was looking for this whisky and they had a bottle at an excellent price. Looking on the Whisky Shop Dufftown I found a good range, very good prices and easy to use web site. I ordered a bottle. I found the service excellent from start to finish. Informed at all stages, quick delivery, good item and well packaged. I also wish to say thank you to the people I spoke to at Whisky Shop Dufftown who were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about whiskies (as I am just a person who enjoys a nice whisky to drink and a not have a great knowledge, I just know what I like). Great customer service. I was new into the world of Scotch Whisky when I visited. They helped me try a few different distilleries so I could find what I liked! Plus, they ship to the USA! ;)
The gentleman behind the counter was most helpful, knowledgeable and very happy for me to annoy him with all sorts of nonsense as I didn't really know what I wanted! However, I left with four bottles (two each of Whisky and Gin) and can't wait for my next trip here so i can purchase many more. Honestly speaking, if you are within 30 miles of here, perhaps a little more (I personally have travelled 600 miles, and it's just as much this shop as it is to see my Mum, just don't let her know,!) you must pop in. Fantastic selection and very friendly, 5 stars
Good selection even though it is not fully intense if you are in to your whiskies. Interiors require updating desperately. Girl at the counter was really helpful and friendly but clearly her whisky knowledge was not up to the mark! Overall a pleasant experience, I would definitely visit again! :-)
