We'd been into Beer for a walk around which was lovely but couldn't find somewhere we wanted to eat so decided to drive home and see what was en-route. Happened upon The Wheelwright Inn by chance really but we're obviously being smiled upon. The food was excellent, decent portions and made in house. The ploughman's with homemade ham is a must, but the burgers equally good. The deserts which we weren't originally going to have but all did were great too...chocolate brownie to die for ! Friendly and great service too. A must try.

Fantastic pub! Had great fresh seafood and a cold drink on a summer day. Definitely needed on our holiday. The chef knows what he is doing.
