Nice old place with plenty of outdoor space and a cosy interior. Very good menu full of hearty, filling dishes. Not a bad choice of ales too.

Brilliant food, ale and a friendly service.
Pub was lovely and cosey with a nice atmosphere. Staff were polite and friendly. Only downfall I had was I ordered a pint of Guinness which was poured with one pull. Guinness should take around 25mins from start of pour to ready to drink. First pull half way up the glass leave to settle second pour 3 quarters way up and last is a small pull finished off with a back tap. This is why Arthur Guinness grew his business with the slogan\Good things come to them who wait
The staff are so friendly and the food is amazing everytime we go. The steak is cooked so beautifully! Really would recommend, whenever we decide to treat ourselves to a meal this is the first place we think of.
We came from Rochdale to visit our friends, we ate here and the staff were brilliant and the food amazing,we had scampi and home made chips. Highly reccomend this place.
