Well organised and we felt very safe whilst inside. Waitress was lovely, friendly and helpful. Food as always was excellent. We all had various sizes of fish and chips. Good size portions and good value with a drink and bread and butter included.

We had Brexit takeaway fish & Chips on Friday 1st January. Two fish, one chips with scraps for less than a tenner, bargain and very good too! One thing you can say about the Whaler, it's consistent and reliable, we have never been disappointed with the fish, it’s never been dry and no bones so it get my vote.
Took my dad for his favourite fish and chips. The restaurant was well set out, with plenty of space. Out waiter was a very polite gentleman who made us feel comfortable, serving us at a safe distance. He even engaged with my dad who is a little deaf and sufferers with dementia, he can be loud sometimes. The food was good quality and value for the money. I Would highly recommend this establishment.
Exactly what is expected from a Chippy restaurant, a step up from a café with tasty food. Speedy service with a genuine smile from all the staff on site. Good portions for a fair price in a little chef type bungalow. Location is a bit off the beat and track but worth a dabble if you're in the area. Note - there is a takeaway attached for those not wanting to sit in for a meal.
