I like the welfare, always consistent, clean and welcoming. Great coffee and food and with two floors they mostly have an available table. Not five because slightly expensive but I still go.

It's a lovely cafe with friendly staff. Lovely cup of tea, hoping it survives all the lockdowns because it deserves to. Staff visibly cleaning and promoting Covid safety too, well done.
Great little spot out of the way. After not being able to use one café I saw the sign for The Wellgate. Went and had a breakfast with a coffee, all in all fantastic. Staff were friendly and not too in your face, all social distancing and safety well in place, tasty food and well poured coffee. My scrambled eggs were forgotten off my breakfast by mistake but staff soon brought them over and apologized, no harm done! Will return soon.
