I ordered two curries from The Weir for take away last night. I regard myself as a bit of an aficionado when it comes to Indian food and am normally apprehensive about ordering from anywhere other than a reputable curry house. I have to say the curries from The Weir surpassed all expectations and was absolutely fantastic. Apparently their chef spent time in India, which might explain the authenticity of the dishes. Superb.

Wow, looks stunning. I am a South African that worked and lived at that pub from 96 to 97 when it was still called the White Horse Inn and still looks totally amazing after all these years with many changes. Was an awesome experience. Would be great to visit there again. Keep it up.
Slightly hidden off the busy streets due to its location, but a fantastic option for a relaxed time with friends or family. They have a spacious garden at the rear which is adjoining the canal, makes it even better. Good service and great food/drink options. Definitely recommended over many surrounding pub options.
Nice pub with a gastro feel and a spacious garden by the lock. All looked great until we ordered some food, the chicken burger was borderline insulting with it only filling half a bun. The pie wasn’t a proper pie, a puff pasty cover up. We’ll be back for a drink. Hopefully the food is much better next time.
Nice pub with good food and very attentive staff. A motorbike parking just in front made it very comfortable for me.
