We enjoyed a very happy evening here. The chefs know what they are doing, the front of house team were cheerful, welcoming and helpful. The vibe is pleasing, warm and - thanks to covid restrictions - spacious (all the right precautions were in place, so we felt entirely confident dining there). We were staying in our caravan in the nearby Church View site and when we return there we'll certainly be heading back to the Weeping Willow.
Went for a friend's birthday meal, and we decided to dine in their outdoor Tipi... What a magical experience. Three great big heaters (as I was worried I was going to get cold) fairy lights, candles, furry throws over the chairs, it was very beautifully done. The service was warm and inviting, and the menu had a very good range, I was torn on what to have. If I was to be reeeeeally picky, the only thing I'd fault was there was a little wait for starters and mains leaving very little time for desserts because of the 10pm curfew...but honestly with the great setting, company and everything else going on in the world, a little wait was nothing. I have shared my experience with friends and family and have definitely recommend they visit...
Wow...just had a covid compliant evening in the tee pee for restricted birthday celebrations... but the amazingly friendly staff and out of this world food made everything feel so much better.and added a touch of normality to such unprecedented times.. I can not recommend this feel good factor venue enough.. thank you for the service and the food and the friendly feel good factor throughout the whole evening. We loved every bit of it :0))) the food is to die for (especially the duck) :0)
We were welcomed by a lovely waiter when we arrived, to which she then showed us to our table. From then on we were served by 4 different waiters and it just didn't seem personal. The food was good, however our starter didn't come out. When it came to dessert, the ice cream was missing. When we questioned why, they said their machine was broken. Something they failed to mention when ordering and they didn't even apologise.
