Hands down the best chippy out here. I know another one gets the press but don’t believe it. These guys are the best! Come hungry they won’t disappoint!

I'm coeliac so eating out while travelling can be a very stressful experience (one crumb and a holiday can be ruined) Was absolutely delighted to discover that The Wee Chippy offered a safe gluten free menu (as much as they can in a shared kitchen - but I'm super sensitive and felt in good hands). The food was absolutely incredible and environment spotless. Highly recommend!! Wish I lived closer but might not be the best for my waistline . Definitely tempted to just do a drive up from Edinburgh just for this meal again... also best mushy peas I've ever tasted and I normally hate them.

Mouthwatering delicious Gluten Free Fish Supper which is a rare treat. The Gluten Free bread I was served was also tasty . When I told Chloe, our waitress she found out who the supplier was and even managed to sell me a loaf from the freezer. What a star she was Would definitely recommend everyone to try it. Oh by the way the normal food was really tasty as well.

Lovely authentic chunky chips, great sized pieces of fish and the white pudding was cracking too. 23 to feed 3 (2 suppers and a single fish) and that included 3x500ml cokes. You nip inside to put your order in then queue along side of shop to pick it up. 15 minute in queue I reckon. Worth the wait. Braw!
