What can I say, bride to be home in tears. Not listened to her about it not fitting correctly. Shouted down to all the guests, not an experience you want for a wedding fitting. Supposed to be a happy day but Gwen ruined all of it. Telling mother of bride how to fit her own daughter in the dress without instruction then shouted at her for doing it incorrectly, learn some manners and how to treat guests. Don’t worry we managed to get the dress fitted properly elsewhere, was a simple fix but you just wouldn’t listen to what was being said. Thanks for ruining the day. Definitely wouldn’t advise, doesn’t listen to problems, doesn’t do anything special. Edited after reply: How many times can a bride say, “this doesn’t feel right” or “this doesn’t fit properly” whilst being shot down that it did fit correctly. The form was signed to take the dress away to get it sorted else where. Thankfully it was and they were in agreement that it indeed didn’t fit correctly. Futhermore, the review is more about the whole experience and general manner not just the dress.

Left really upset. It was the first shop I went to looking at dresses, as a size 14 I'm not skinny but I am definitely not fat! Went in with my mum and started looking at the rails, was told to not look at those rails as they are for smaller brides. She directed me where to look and I had one rail left to look at with barely any dresses. All the plus side dresses were size 20 and absolutely swamped me. The lady was then really rude to my mum when she was making comments about the dresses and said \sometimes mother doesn't know best\. Wasn't even like my mum was slating a dress I liked, I had already said I didn't like it. My mum was just trying to help me put into words what I didn't like about it. It took me a few weeks before I had the courage to go look at any more dresses after this experience. I was left so deflated. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Reply: It was a few months ago when I came in. I can't remember the name of the person who I dealt with but I believe it was the owner. The reason I left it this long was because I was talking to a friend about dress shopping for normal size girls and it occurred to me that I didn't want anyone to have the experience I had when shopping. Wedding dress shopping is meant to be a happy time and the service and range of size at your shop were both appalling. No normal to plus size bride should be left to feel that way.

Very affordable dresses. Unfortunately did not find my dress here but it was still a good experience. Dresses in varying styles and prices.
