I like this place for breakfast. The tables are very well spaced apart and they had the doors open to give better air circulation (important with Covid) and the breakfast is high quality although the Tea Rooms give you an extra slice of toast and include jam which is worth noting if you want a big feed feeling. I was really hungry so I asked for an extra slice of toast, I got cold bread from the fridge which I felt was steep for the extra 1.50 charge but they were busy and so I was just grateful for the bread. I'd definitely be going again, loved the setting.

Had a great meal with my wife yesterday. The highlight for me was the Pork and Black Pudding Bonbons Apple Ketchup which I started with...if you like black pudding, then give these a try...they’re fabulous. I had a beef main that was perfectly executed...a feather blade cut that was just falling off the bone...delicious...and my wife had the plaice and loved it too. We then shared the toffee pudding for dessert. Wine selection is good and reasonably priced and the service was great. A winner gift Bradford....we’ll be back next time we’re in town.

Menu very limited, food was good but not good value for money. Noted that the “good nights” and “thank yous” offered by a small group who left just before us were ignored by staff; also our “thank yous” and “good nights” were ignored by the chefs, to whom my husband had just been talking to in a pleasant manner regarding as to when they would be able to extend the menu, they just leaned nonchalantly on the the bar/counter as we walked out. We are local and will not be returning.

Hubbie and I enjoyed a lovely breakfast here - he had a full English and I had poached egg and wild mushrooms on toast. Both were delicious.

We had breakfast here ... well brunch and we picked this place primarily for its location. Its situated right on the river with lots of outdoor seating. It's always a good start when you walk in to order and the chef is kneading bread. You take a menu and a seat, choose what you want and order inside and pay. We ordered smashed avocado on toast and poached eggs on toast, the food was delicious, we were beaten to the till by a large party so had to wait a little, but that was to be expected. There is a board on display mentioning that everything is cooked to order so be prepared for that .... not an issue when you have lovely views to enjoy. The interior is very modern, large windows help you enjoy the exterior if it's a little cold to sit out. The menu had lots of choice and had we been staying we would definitely have come back and enjoyed an evening meal, it was lovely.
