Fantastic food, amazing service and the staff made us feel so welcomed. Great with dogs too. Such a beautiful setting. Very clean and all the rules were met with the Covid restrictions. Highly recommend

I enjoyed a DELICIOUS 100% Scotch beef burger with Dunsyre blue cheese, hand-cut chips, onion rings and side salad. Husband had very tasty chicken, leek and tarragon pie with light puff pastry topping, mash and seasonal veg. Fantastic service, good portions, great price, beautiful setting and plenty space to relax and socially distance. Thank you Waterside Bistro!
So many things that I love about this place! Firstly, always a warm friendly welcome from the owner & team. Beautiful setting, whether you are outside overlooking the river and church or inside one of the stunning rooms with exposed original stonework. Food is always fantastic and we especially love that there are always specials, such as fish dishes and venison! Great selection of drinks, including extensive wine list and local cider on tap. Service is always lovely. One of our East Lothian favourites for sure!
Very friendly staff. Great with our dog. Beautiful location. Limited choice menu but something for most tastes. Superb quality and large portions. Definitely go back. Recommended.
