Good service, especially so considering the Covid situation. In the past it has been fun to have a pint in the White Cross further up the canal by the town hall and then reward yourself with a second pint at the Water Witch following the short tow path stroll between the two. Lancaster has a very mild climate, it is often possible to enjoy a pint outside in the depths of winter.

Great place to eat and drink right by the water and watch the passing wildlife. Good food and selection of drinks the staff are great here. Well worth a visit for a drink and a bite to eat!

The location was magnificent. Excellent food, with a great variety of Ale, which we enjoyed it by sitting by the canal. The staff, courteous and friendly. Perfect place to sit out on a sunny day. The Brown Ale, perfectly complemented the traditional British Fish and Chips. In the few days we were in Lancaster, we visited it twice! We were completely satisfied both times!
