An easy walk from the centre of Hay along the banks of the Wye. There is a small beach and plenty of open grassy area. Great place for a picnic.

Having spent many summers in the area only discovered The Warren today. A lovely area for walking our water loving dog. Would be lovely for a picnic on a warmer and drier day and will be back. The track from the road to the parking area is a bit of a boneshaker but taken slowly was fine. My satnav took me slightly the wrong way but a local resident was very helpful.
Simply lovely for a stroll, walk or wander. Grassy meadow in the middle which would be good for picnic when time is right
Fabulous. One for the locals and those prepared to do some Googling. I love a quiet spot by the river where families and dogs enjoy a bit of wild swimming. Cracking day out.
Lovely, peaceful walk along the river just a few minutes out of Hay-on-Wye
