Visited here for my husbands birthday lunch and the food was delicious. The beer battered fish was crispy and full of flavour. My husband had a huge burger filled with bacon and cheese which he was very impressed with! We both had chocolate fudge cake with ice cream for dessert and it was perfect. Set in the gorgeous setting of the Surrey Hills this pub is full of history and well worth a visit.

Had the Sunday roast beef. It was one of the best I've had at any country pub. Spacious and relaxing outdoor seating.
Great pizza and friendly staff. I hadn't been to the volunteer for some years due to the food being fairly poor. But things have definitely changed. Esp the pizza! My favourite is the, nice and spicy
We had a really nice early evening meal today, 2 pizzas, self-curated and perfectly cooked. The pub is taking all precautions to do with Covid so it feels very safe. The staff are very friendly and the view from the garden is timeless
