A delightful step back to an era that faced adversity with the same strong spirit as the owner of The Vintage Empire Tearoom. The adjustments they have made to comply with current Government guidelines for COVID are efficient and clear. Unfortunately the formalities have taken away some of the magic of the shared experience amidst historical artefacts. We had a lovely lunch in the sunny garden area on Monday 14th September. We miss the cosy armchairs that were just by the window but in trust the more cosy feeling will return in the near future when safe to do so. Magnificent menu of traditional options at reasonable prices including a special arrangement for afternoon tea. Thank you to all the team working hard to maintain high level of service and thoughtful interaction with Customers.

Lovely tea room in Herne Bay. Have visited lots over past few years and never disappointed. They do the most gorgeous scones and lovely creamy Mochas. Feel safe in there too in current climate.

What a beautiful bijoux cafe. In the theme of wwii Britain. Very tasty victoria sponge amongst many other treats. Staff here are lovely and very accommodating for myself, wife, daughter and 6 month old grandson. Definitely coming back to try the Scotch egg special. Great value. Thanks VE
