Fantastic traditional pub which serves equally fantastic home cooked food.

Amazing place with amazing staff. Lovely decor with original beams showing throughout the pub. Open fire in main room roaring through winter, plenty of seating outside. Prices are very fair Staff cant do enough to make you feel welcome. Best pub in my personal opinion inside Rugeley.
This is hands down the best pub I have ever been too, I wish I didn't live 100 miles away so it could be my local!! Staff were amazing, so attentive and friendly - going above and beyond so that me and my friends were looked after (they even went as far as to give us a lift back to our campsite when there were no taxis!!) had a banging cucumber gin with elderflower tonic, it was spot on. Thank you all so much, will be definitely paying a visit when I'm next in the area!
Excellent neighbourhood pub. Good range of craft (and real) beers. Old fashioned menu in a good way. Hot pork pie, bacon chops , slow cooked shin just some examples from the menu. Bench seating provides convivial atmosphere. Thoroughly recommended.
