I have gone in for years but this year is slightly different, at the moment I don't feel comfortable with going in any pub to socialize. But I'm quite happy to go in just to collect food, they have a great system in place to keep people safe and I'm looking forward to better times ahead. As for the cobs, they are the best you will ever get your trap round.

Great lunch, great atmosphere and great beer. What else can you say. We'll keep coming back when the food is that good. Love the place and the people. Update 2018... New management have taken a few months to get it back to the level and I can honestly say they are there now. New menu and new decor this year. Still the best value and quality food in the area.
Everyone knows The Bull and Bladder (aka The Vine) as the best pub on the Delph. The Bathams beer always tastes best from the brewery! They are social distancing really well while still keeping the feel of the Bull and Bladder. It’s a traditional Black Country pub, the atmosphere is really welcoming.
My second visit here and again we came by boat. The Bathams beers are superb, and the Covid-19 restrictions are politely enforced by the staff. We had lunch today and it too was as good as the beer. Many, many thanks. I look forward to my next visit.
