Based on the reviews I was expecting something really good but surprisingly this was one of the worse chippys I’ve ever had. The fish was mush and the batter was extremely thick and only tasted of oil. The 3 layers of paper wrapping the fish were soaked through with oil. The sausages were barely cooked and again sodden in oil. As for the chips, not as oily but the large portion was more like a small and certainly not worth the 2.30 price tag. Would definitely not recommend and certainly will not be using again.

Very good and great chip's
A gem of a chip shop, Please go out of your way to try this shop. The food is of a high quality, fresh cooked as you order. It's set in a beautiful tiny village. Close to Beeston Castle, Run by the same owners for many years. You wont regret your visit.
