I ordered a medium chips large fish, medium cod & curry sauce the fish & curry sauce are hot and good size position. I’m a regular customer but when I opened my chips I was not impressed I ordered enough food to go around my two daughters and my partner but the portion is so small iv had to cook more chips at home to be able to feed us all I do recommend this chip shop to a lot of people I’m just rather disappointed that this time my chips was not to there normal standards of what this chip shop offers. I will still resume my custom and hope next time I won’t come across this issue again.

Fish portions are plenty fulfilling and reasonable in pricing too! Staff are super friendly and will give you good recommendations! Highly recommend this place
The quality of fish is very good but it is completely let down by the cooking. Everything was saturated in oil as the fryers weren’t hot enough. It’s the first time I’ve ever binned half a meal. I appreciate that when I went it was quite busy but when every other chippy can manage not to run cold fryers I don’t think it’s an acceptable excuse. Curry sauce was good and chips unfortunately suffered the same fate as the fish. I would be open to returning but just not a Friday night. But in the immediate future I will be going elsewhere.
This was my first time visiting The Viking fish and chip shop. Received a warm, polite welcome from very friendly, cheerful staff. Portion size is quite large, which at first worried me a little as some places use quantity to mask a lack of quality, But I must say I am very pleasantly surprised, The fish, chips and battered sausage here is by a long way the best I have had from cambridgshire. And to make things even better, their very fairly priced too. If you haven't been here, go, try it you won't be disappointed.
