Recently had lunch here. This is another stable place in Hamble where you can usually get good food and a good selection of ales and other drinks. The toilets have now been upgraded, but Jamie the owner has kept the village pub feel, which is part of the magic of this place. The menu is currently being upgrades with some new ideas. You wont leave hungry from here!

Excellent food in a charming English pub. A friend and I went for dinner and decided not to order a starter. This worked out for the best as had we had a starter, we would not have finished our main. I'd booked a table and was directed to one that had lots of beer rings on it where overfull pints had been sitting. We asked the barmaid to wipe it and she did so straightaway. The service was efficient and friendly.
Very friendly and informative staff. They have a good one way system and hand sanitiser readily available. Good range of beers & ciders and the food was delicious! Great portion sizes for the price, too. Space for us to keep our bikes close and lots of tables outside, both in shade and some great sun spots, also! The draught lines tasted very clean and general hygiene inside was excellent. Definitely be back when we're in the area again!

Met friends who i hadn't seen for about 20 years at the victory tonight where we had Sunday roasts, choice of 4 meats available loads of veggies very big meals. Sorry i didn't finish it all. Very friendly staff,nice atmosphere & location. Will be returning again.
