The most AMAZING pub. With SUPERBLY AMAZING dark, creamy beer. Owners and staff really attentive, especially during Social distancing. Attention to detail. I will DEFINITELY be going again. Plus, I REALLY enjoyed the beer I took home. Thank you for making my DAY

Feels like being blasted back 100 years architecturally. Beautiful pub in a beautiful setting and has remained essentially a pub that does food not a restaurant that looks like a pub... With a pub cat too. Proper pub.
As it's been so hot lately, I decided to take me and the children out for dinner as a treat and to save me cooking in this heat, I can honestly say the food is amazing, my daughter had fish and chips but the batter was to die for, not soggy at all, beautifully crisp, I had scampi and my boys had southern fried chicken burgers! I tasted all the food and it was all amazing! Came out of there feeling I needed to be wheeled home because I was so full! Will definitely be going back, all the staff were friendly, but hats off to the chef, all cooked fresh and perfectly well. Me and my children are very happy customers and cant wait to come back.
Came today, overall very satisfied with everything. Being in the middle of COVID, pub very clean and good social distancing measures in place. Came in for the roast dinner with the mediteranian tart, which was delicious. There was a good selection of non alcoholic beer as well as normal beer. Staff were friendly and attentive. Sadly the crumble was disappointing, it had just been warmed in the microwave so the actual crumble was just a bit damp and chewy, which is a shame as the flavour was good. Overall i would come back.
