Really enjoyed the food here and service was great, our meals were served piping hot and were delicious. We ended up getting a chocolate fudge cake and ice cream to share for pudding which was fantastic.

This pub was opposite my guest house, so having a drink and strolling back to the guest house was great. Luckily this is a very nice pub. It has a good choice of real ale and nice find for the good lady. I didn't get to try out the food but as it went past me on it's way to the happy customers, it did look very good.

We have not been to this pub for years because the landlady is just blatantly rude and has the customer service skills of a wart hog, but we ventured from the village for our sons birthday and frankly just regret we did. The food was lovely and the landlady didnt disappoint she was exactly the same just awful and rude. We were playing pool as a family and trying to enjoy the night as best we could whilst all feeling angry about the rude way she conducted herself. We were at a tipping point on the pool games and had ran out of 50's when we asked for changed she just said ' non in the till and walked away so we could not finish our games. We will never step foot in that pub again disgusted locals we are.
