Stayed over at this pub in September with our campervan. The food was excellent and the landlady was very welcoming. i do hope this excellent pub will reopen in 2021 after its temporary closure.
Lovely place to stop for a night. You only need to have a meal inside the pub and they will happily let you stay. We just had dinner here and the food was delicious! Staff is super kind and friendly. Totally recommended.
I visited Folkstone for the first time and I'd fancy a beer. I couldn't find better place. The lady working in the pub is a very kind and cheerful person. It was a pleasure to sit there. Toilets very clean! The garden very green. If I will visit Folkstone again I'll definitely pop in to The Valiant Sailor. Thank you for great experience ️
The food was ok. I had one chip that was rare, and the vegetables of a friend were overcooked. The fish was good. The steak was good. Sauces were served in little plastic cups, which was really unnecessary.
