Really nice pub. Buffalo fries were tasty. And the chicken and waffles were really delicious.
Amazingly tasty pizza - seriously one of the best I've ever had. Run by Dodo pub company but restarted by Community fundraisers so couldn't praise it more highly. Also do tasty hot drinks and cakes from the wee cafe at the side. Only been inside once - good beer and the main feature is the external cafe and takeaway hatch. Really hope they prosper!
It's quirky and has a limited menu, but what they do, they do well. You can get hot drinks next-door. They let us sit in with our 2 dogs, which was great.
Great food, I would just say slightly over priced, if food was slightly cheaper I would be more of a regular. Pizza 11,50, burger 11 (without chips), chips 4 or 6 pounds. So about 20 a head with drinks, and I would say that is dear for a pub food outing. Great inside and nice vibe. Food deals - two burgers on a Monday for 5 (without chips) 5 pizza on another day, but only margarita or pizza with no tomato. Would recommend, good staff.
