The food cant be faulted at all we had the slow roasted pork belly and the sweet potato and parsnip roulade which was some of the nicest food we have had in a long time. Unfortunately the place were we was seated was so quite and we was the only people their while other people dinned in the bar area we was hid away in would I could only describe as a church hall.... which sadly let this place down..... but our waitress was so kind and polite.

Great experience :) On beginning we bean given small bowl of popcorn and after lovely cheese parsley warm rolls (heaven). AlL that was free of charge. Then we went for 3 course set menu. Belly pork is just perfect. Thank you Ugly Duckling for such nice experience :)
Lovely food unfortunately we went the night that the loudest woman in Lydney went which rather spoilt our quiet evening out.
Had breakfast there.... best in Lydney...very impressed with all round service
Nice place, very good food, slightly small on the portions but the quality is great.
