Such a wonderful pub. Friendly locals, fabulous landlady, huge range of drinks topped off by Harveys Best on draught. Huge beer garden with range of seating. Rugby on TV when I went in most recently. Ideal for drinks before Holmesdale FC games. Highly recommended.

Great looking pub- shocking service..... don't take amex although signed up to the shop small promotion. When I tired to explain staff she would not listen and talked over me. Prior to that, I had been sharply told by barmaid that my party should be sitting down at the table (they were standing by table as trying to see what ales they offered at 2 meters distance respecting rules) when I asked what Gin they do I was helpfully pointed to the selection..... then served my drink in a nice dirty glass with some lipstick on! The staff seem obsessed with following government COVID -19 guidelines although neglecting basic cleaning and hygiene. As well as keen to keep the regulars happy. Very frustrating attempting to explain this to the barmaid when she wouldn't listen let alone hear the actual message!!!
