We had a Sunday roast in there today and it was very tasty and very good value too. 2 roasts for 14. Very friendly staff. Made us feel welcome. Also make a lovely mug of tea Thanks.

The new owners are staying great news and now have BT sport showing all games, they are serving traditional pie and mash and liquor from Goddard's. Sunday roast deal is two roasts for 12.00 also Jazz every month so check face book. Business as usual so support your local through these unpredictable times.
Had a good meal except we went in at 7pm Friday for fish and chip night and they s said they sold out they only had 12pieces of fish as we left there were people eating fish and chips not very nice we had scampi and chips instead wish was nice but not a lot of it ...... THIS RESPONSE IS ABSOLUTE RUBBISH WE WERE GIVEN A CHEAP WINE ALSO AS THE BARMAN HAD NO RED HOW CAN U HAVE A FISH NIGHT ON 12 PIECES FISH
