I have yet to enter the museum, however I have had the pleasure of the trimontium walk. Geraldine was an absolute delight, knowledgeable and entertaining, its a beautiful 10k walk with plenty of local history thrown in... I thoroughly recommend all to give this tour a go... Dogs and kids will enjoy it too...

Great museum and place to learn about Scotland's Roman heritage. Very friendly curator, they also organize guided walks to the nearby sites of Trimontium and Old Melrose.
A small museum that brought Roman history to life through the knowledge and enthusiasm of the guide who greeted us and orientated us to the collection. Definitely worth visiting and supporting if you are visiting Melrose.
Lovely gentleman took time to show us round this tiny one room museum and tell us the history of the finds. Museum is small but absolutely chock full of interesting finds.
A lovely little museum, it is obvious that the custodians take great pride in their small zone of history. Very knowledgeable, worth a visit if you are in the area.
