We are relatively new to Wigan and have a long family history of fishing. We were recommended to try The Trawlernan and have not been disappointed. We know good quality fish n chips from our home town and have found the same here. Delicious batter on very tasty fish. Friendly owners and exceptional service.

Really nice chippy and great people that work there. fresh fish, stunning pies, nice puddings and you can't beat a Wigan Kebab (3 pies on a kebab skewer, a bun at each end, gravy and peas over the top)... Now that's a proper Wigan Kebab... And much more to offer. I'll be there again soon
I like this restaurant! They serve high class food, their menu is nice, The cook in that restaurant is very experienced, I like a lot eating all their food. The dishes are consistently tasty, the service towards the customers is nice. I go often to this restaurant and I not even once was disappointed. I recommend it with no hesitation.
