The Tipsy Cow

I have tried the parmo's here a few times now and I have a mixed opinion. Sometimes the chicken is really nicely cooked but sometimes it can have a slight pink tinge and some areas taste more cooked than others, my only guess is that this is due to the chicken used is sometimes defrosted and not fresh which gives the parmo a mushy type texture. One of the big compliments I have though is the chips taste really good and are cooked crispy which I prefer much more than undercooked chips. All round I would recommend this place more than most takeaways in Middlesbrough but I do believe the parmo's are a work in progress.

First came here on a work's night out 3 nights ago, decided to come back for food with the wife while I'm off this week. My mixed grill was excellent and wifey's steak pie got rave reviews too. Chef asked how I wanted my steak cooked and it was pretty damn good. Chocolate fudge cake - unreal. Sharps Atlantic is always an easy drinking beer and coffee and hot chocolate to finish. Great service and lovely atmosphere, the Tipsy Cow has been done out in a really classy and comfortable way. Thoroughly enjoyed. And walkable from Linthorpe. Ideal.

Good beer, great staff, and A pleasant atmosphere. They have plenty of televisions with varying sport on and a nice beer too. It's an added bonus that they do delicious food too. X

First time I'd been in, nice decor, very spacious and good atmosphere will be back regularly!
