Lovely old pub, bar staff were friendly and attentive. They have a log fire, was a little warm to light it but later in the evening it was lit which gave a nice atmosphere. The food was very tasty and presented well, definitely worth a visit.

Three of us had Sunday roast. The presentation was good and the quantities generous although the pork meat helping was rather small. The sweets are home made. The service was fast and efficient. I would recommend eating in the restaurant as tables around the bar are not very secluded.

An amazing lunch! We each had the ultimate fish finger sandwich with a side of yum chunky chips, the food was really delicious and there is a a lovely atmosphere. The staff are so welcoming, and the dog friendly water and biscuit space near the bar was fantastic, dogs definitely welcome which is so nice. Will definitely be coming back for another lunch, highly recommend.

My brother booked us a table in the bar for a post Christmas get together. The Sunday menu had plenty on it as well as a Sunday roast. I thought I would try something new to me and wasn't dissapointed. Basque Seafood Stew..delicious. everyone enjoyed their meals..and we managed desserts too. We sat near the fire, but the whole place was cosy and had a nice atmosphere. The staff were all pleasent and chatty. There were folks with well behaved dogs in the bar, a small sofa area near the bar and big restaurant area also. Well worth visiting, will head back in the spring and hopefully get to sit in the lovely garden.

Great little pub. Visited to eat before going to see my team play Forest Green. The Fish and chips was excellent value for money and service really quick!
