Amazing pub, with super friendly staff. We topped and tailed a walk along the breathtaking coastal path, lunch and drinks before and drinks after and we couldn't be made to feel more welcome. The open fires and hops on the rafters gave a lovely olden day feel to the pub. Can't wait to go back.

Great food, great service! Staff friendly and the outside is beautiful! Inside the pub is dark and cosy like a proper pub should be. Great place to refuel after a walk around the beautiful surroundings. Also delicious local ice cream for pud. Really recommend.
Me and my girlfriend visited here after a lovely walk. Farcicle treatment, the staff were far more interested in there own conversation and when i ordered a ham sandwich i found out 10 minutes later that they had no ham. It was quite a funny pub visit, i would give it a 1.... but in all honesty it was so bad it was entertaining
We came to St Ives for a weekend away and change of scenery. It was absolutely blowing a gale and pouring rain so not quite the weekend we had hoped for, but as it's early October we can't really complain! We went to Lands End and my husband planned a stop off for lunch at The Tinners Arms based on the reviews on trip advisor, it did not disappoint. We walked into a warm, traditional and just plain gorgeous pub. Fire crackling, dried hops on the beams, big fire places and quite a few content and warm walkers and families. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, and even offering a reduced menu due to covid there was plenty of choice. We had the fresh crab sandwich and a big bowl of warm chicken strew, along with a glass of merlot. All absolutely delicious. The stew in particular was so good, seasoned to perfection. We followed it up with Eton mess and the apple crumble with custard - again, faultless. Thoroughly decent food, lovely staff and a perfect example of how a traditional country pub should be. If you get the chance to pop in - do. You won't regret it.
We were made to feel very welcome after our wet and wild coast walk. A chatty stranger walking the other way recommended the pub and their crumble. This became our goal! A warm up, beers, friendly service and excellent puddings gave us a warm glow to head back out into the rain.
