Very enjoyable Sunday roast in attractive pub set in a pleasant village. Starter of Tuna marinated in soy and with a creamy peppery wasabi mayo was fresh and tasty. Roast beef was soft and flavoursome while the gravy was wonderfully thick and packed a meaty punch. Carrot was a nice surprise as it was perfectly cooked whole with star anise. Delicate modern take on Eton mess was a fresh, light option to finish. Reasonably priced, relaxed atmosphere: a very pleasant place to visit
