We are just having a few days away here in Cleveland and wanted somewhere we could eat that was pet friendly, and this was recommended to us Even though we hadn't booked we were accommodated by an excellent host and her brilliant staff, the food on both occasions was fabulous, the social distancing was superb, Covid tracing was adhered to, I filled in a track and trace form, I wish I could say that of all bars and restaurants we've been to. The owners even took the time to show us all the improvements they've made and.plans for the future, We wish the all the success they deserve and can't wait to visit in the future
Sunday dinner is excellent, first time there I booked a roast for 2.30pm the lady then asked my name and where was I off to \Saltburn\ came back 6 months later she remembered name and said 2.30pm have a nice time Saltburn.
Very disappointed. Steak pie pastry was similar to toasted pitta bread, certainly not shortcrust or puff!! Vegetables boiled until they were next door to soggy. Did not complain because we were out with another couple and did not want to cause a fuss. Noticed that the floor needed sweeping under our table too. Far too expensive and I would certainly have complained if I had not been using the government eat out scheme. One star for the lemon meringue pie.
Accommodated at very short notice and had a lovely meal with family and dog. Wish we had found this place at start of our hols. Steak pie and fruit crumble was spot on.
