Excellent food and drink with exceptional service. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Sat at the top of the beer garden with amazing views. One of the best pubs in the South West in my opinion. A proper pub decor inside with a large garden terrace and a wide range of alcoholic drinks. Gin heaven!

We came across this pub just before Christmas on a very cold rainy day. There was lovely atmosphere with the fireplace , it was just what we needed, fish and chips was absolutely great.

As ever spot on. The Covid system was the best I've ever seen. The table service efficient, polite and in no way hurried. The seafood platter was bang on again as was my wifes fish pie. My sons burger was demolished in double quick time. Thanks, stay safe and see you next year.

Great food and exceptional service. Hard to get a table for dinner anywhere in Cornwall these days and in this tiny beautiful fishing village eating choices are limited. Many places were closed, closing or fully booked. But the Three Pilchards extended their kitchen hours and Dan on the door took our mobile numbers and despite being fully booked called us when a table was free. The serving staff were brilliant, happy, helpful and so cheerful. Sorry I don't know their names but we were sitting on the lowest of the outside terraces and they were all great. Brilliant fish pie BTW!

Excellent food here in this lovely old fishing village. We had one Fish Pie which was full of big chunks of lovely fish topped with lovely cheesy mashed potatoes, also Beer Battered Fish, Chips and peas, both were absolutely delicious. Very highly recommended.
