Was looking forward to a lovely Sunday lunch after a long walk, only to be disappointed. Only vegetables on the plate was swede mash (only just warm) and a lump of cabbage. No other veg to be seen what so ever. Roast potatoes dry, mash potato like it had been sat on a plate and heated up as was harder on the top. For 10.00 it is really not worth it.

Absolutely lovely lunch after a walk around Wyoming Brook. We were really impressed with the number of gluten free options and the food was delicious. The view was stunning and the staff were delightful.
Food here is amazing! Why have I not discovered this pub before really homely and the steak and ale pie is to die for. Nice mixed grill too. Highly enjoyable
Location is good. Next to Whyming Brook which is a lovely walk with the dog. Food was very very disappointing. Pie crust burnt, mixed grill very underwhelming (Cumberland sausage was more like a cocktail sausage), the pub itself is a nice pub but we booked in with the campervan and they didn't actually record it down so we were lucky that the slot was still available. Very disappointed with the overall experience.
First time here since new management and very impressed. Fantastic food, excellent service, very COVID-secure. Will definitely return. A
