We visited the Three Mariners at lunchtime for the \Eat out to Help out\ promotion. We had a very friendly welcome and shown to our pre-booked table. The pub felt very safe with clear plastic screens between tables where necessary. The attentive staff took our order and the freshly cooked food arrived quite quickly. Our Steak & Ale pies and fish & chips were excellent with lovely fresh veg. Portions were generous and would have been good value at full price!

Usual type of pub meals, good selection of wine by the glass. Good vegetarian and gluten free options for some of the meals. Quiet when we visited. Parking is a problem, there are a couple of spaces outside by they were taken by contractor’s vans, that means either paying the extortionate parking rates or walking half a mile.

Our first trip to a pub since way before lockdown. These folks had it sorted. They were able to book us in with an hour's notice and when we turned up early they had our table prepared and ready with the safety screen up too. Excellent service and yummy pup food. The cherry on the cake was the eat out to help out 50% discount which wasn't obviously advertised and was a very nice surprise when I got the bill. Lovely experience.

Great service, hadn't booked a table but we were looked after as we were just calling in for a drink. Great choice of beers on draught, pity we were only nipping in! Staff were very friendly and helpful, tables were screened off to maintain the social distancing. Well worth a visit.

Great atmosphere, in a historic pub. One of the quaintest pubs in Lancaster which is an historic town full of character. We had to go to the three mariners as I love history and the pub is the oldest in Lancaster, The Mariners has outstanding ambience and charm. Bar staff are friendly and a good selection of 9 different ales on pump. Well worth a visit. Good atmosphere a warm welcome guaranteed.
