We came here for a dinner in August when staying in Whitney. The food was great. There were bot many veggie mains so I bought several of the tapas options s which were very tasty. The steak was very well cooked. We had a spot in the (big) garden as it was just after the first lockdown and it was very comfortable. Good selection of beers and a good price. A very pretty and old fashioned pub in the heart of Whitney.

We have just moved to the area and eaten here on two separate occasions. First with our baby and little dog and secondly with baby, dog and parents. The service we received each time was absolutely amazing! So welcoming, and extremely accommodating. The same goes for the food! Everyone was extremely happy. I even chose the vegetarian option to try it out and was massively impressed. Highly recommend, will definitely be paying more visits in the future :)
Super tasty Sunday lunch!! We wanted a quick roast before our trip home, but wanted flavoursome too...And here we got both. Well presented food, good potion size with both meat and veg, plus a good Yorkshire pudding. We'll be heading back if we find ourselves closeby again.
Love this pub. I searched for Hobgoblin beer through London to here to find out it is Brewed in Witany? This little pub has up scale food and great staff. Best in the UK.
Our new local. Lovely food and friendly staff, good to see dogs in a local pub. Very nicely decorated. Good selection of real ales. Menu is limited but something on there whatever your looking for. Prices are medium to high.
