I can’t tell you how fond we are of this lovely little town, small intimate hotel and wonderful friendly pub with great food and great atmosphere. We’ve stayed here three times and always go out of our way to book dinner and a cozy, clean, comfortable room. The food is top drawer and the fish and chips and sticky toffee pudding are great. We’ve also had a couple of the specials. One was amazing. A fish with tiny shrimp on top set on a bed of mashed potatoes! Yum. We weren’t as fond of the fish cake special though. The staff is also super friendly.

Lovely bed and breakfast, the food is great and we'll priced. Service is friendly and the atmosphere is great.
Pleasent surroundings & interior. Good selection of drinks. Good food. Good service. Large garden. Seating out front too. There's nothing not to like.
Even during tier 2 lockdown.. fantastic food with a great welcome.
Nothing wrong really, just standard. Tapas sharing board seemed mostly just from jars with good chorizo, calamari and whitebait but bland meatballs, no sauce and nothing to dip the seafood in. My pork belly with black pudding mash was good, but partner's steak not great, chips only ok, poor sauce.
