I went to visit a number of micro pubs in Broadstairs. This place was much bigger than other establishments and is close to the seafront. The staff was very friendly the beet was excellent. I would return.
We had a couple of drinks last night in the 39 steps in Broadstairs. It's been renovated really well it's got a great atmosphere keeping the traditional look of the place whilst giving it a bit of a modern twist. It has built on the theme of the micro pub and moved beyond that to something that's approaching a mainstream pub now but they do have real ales and ciders for those that like them alongside pump beers.
Slightly disappointed the broken windows hadn't been fIxed since my last visit 2 years ago. Will always be a favourite venue though. Lovely beer.
Bit annoying that it doesn't take cards (only cash) and you feel as if you're inside a fishbowl once inside. But warm & friendly service good beer
